What We Believe
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. We believe in His substitutionary death for all men, His resurrection, and His eventual return to judge the world.
Furthermore, we recognize that we are called by God to be His representatives and His presence in the world. In our organizational practices and community services, we incorporate Christian principles and biblical standards. In both our professional and personal lives, we seek to honor God by living according to biblical standards for Christian character and moral conduct.
We believe all are born with a sinful nature and that the work of Christ’s atonement at the cross was to redeem us from the power of sin. We believe that this salvation from sin is available to all who are willing to receive it through the prayer of salvation.
Personal Relationship with Christ
We believe that every believer has a unique relationship with the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the Throne of Grace for God’s help, protection, and provision in every area of their lives.
We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity (God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.) We believe in the Holy Spirit’s interaction with a man as a helper and comforter (John 14:16). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.
We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in water in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ.
The Lord commands us to evangelize to all people and nations by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that this is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ.
Prayer and Praise
We believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and the lifting of hands. We believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord to meet their needs according to God’s perfect will and in the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ.
We believe in the healing ministry of the Holy Spirit to the Church body through the anointing of oil by the elders of the church and through the laying on of hands in prayer.
The Sacred Scripture
We believe in the scripture as the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God’s will for mankind. We believe in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of mankind.
